Shouldn’t helmets above all look right in a FOOTBALL game? I have no clue how much time and effort it takes to get these helmets/facemasks scanned in, but all that awesome graphic detail goes to waste if the basics are missed and the fits are wonky. Seems it’d be worth it to give this a good look. Maybe my top request? the ability edit more than just equipment for NIL players. I get it -> Name, profile, facescan, position, ratings, and any other NIL identifiers stay locked and uneditable. That’s a given. But what about corrections to appearance? let’s set up necessary guardrails and then let players at least tinker with physique/build, hair, skin tone. In addition to that, why not let players fix jersey numbers, and animation Styles (running motion, throwing motion, stances)? I really miss having this access and being able to share/download custom rosters from other diehards dedicated to likeness/immersion. Again, this is all for offline custom rosters. And everything having to do with player appearance would be made to be adjustable only within limits. We’re not trying to break rules, we’re trying to feed ourselves. In these recent CFB games, it just gets tiring waiting for the official roster updates hoping they correct things that they may never get around to. We’re basically forced to shout into what can feel like a void hoping to get any requests on EA’s radar. Obviously, it’s unrealistic to expect EA to get everybody’s team 100% correct, right? But a few obsessive freaks in love with college football? It’s almost guaranteed. Also, the best of this community work can serve EA. The most downloaded and highest rated custom rosters are basically a free signal for what looks wrong and what the community agrees is correct. They could use that data to guide official roster updates over the year.
