I literally live in California and the CEC made it illegal for first party companies to ship me a gaming PC. This is a well known fact that California is proud of. When I was buying a PC for my company to use for 3d modeling and scanning I had to work directly with my contact at Dell to ship it to VEGAS because they legally would not ship it to our office in LA.

Research used to be a social activity, now if you want to learn to solve a problem you ask Google.

@bumbadum14 Maybe because the Pc you were buying had a dogshit psu that leaks power while literally turned off. Like crying you cant buy a new car with an oil leak.

@ExtremoFascista A veces uno simplemente baja la guardia. Creo que una secta es todo grupo en el que hacer preguntas o cuestionamientos está castigado con el ostracismo, los métodos de manipulación de las sectas funcionan, y por lo tanto se usan en todas partes.

A veces uno se cree demasiado inteligente para caer en una secta y cuando nos damos cuenta ya estamos en una. En el fondo se piensa que uno está en lo correcto y que no puede ser una secta.

@nezzzumine Nunca me ha pasado, pero es precisamente por eso que no les creo a las autoridades cuando dicen que quieren quitarnos nuestra libertad para cuidar a los niños, ellos ya tienen todas las herramientas que necesitan para hacer ese trabajo y no lo hacen.

@LupintheI Hmm no, the GPU has a TGP of 160w, the processor, motherboard, etc would draw more than 120w, that's not sufficient headroom, it would work, maybe even for years, but it's far from ideal. Consoles are strictly power constrained to not put much stress on their weak PSUs.

@HolyDiver47 OK, that build has still more than 45% headroom at full load with a 350W PSU

Here's a "Steam Machine buld" for people scared of chinese brands, electricity and A520 chipsets: It's still twice the performance, twice the Vram and cheaper than the 2TB Steam Machine at the same footprint. Attached pictures of the actual thing.

@LupintheI You may not believe it but an i3 12100f is cheaper and more powerful for gaming than a Ryzen 5 5500.

BTW here's a PC that's almost twice the performance in games and with double the Vram and storage compared to the Steam Machine for the same price and IN THE SAME FORM FACTOR.
