Nintendo Switch 2 is geting a $50 price increase starting September 1😐
Not only in the US, it's affecting other countries too. Tech shortages and Al of course are to blame. $500 for the Switch 2 now. #nintendo #nintendoswitch2 #priceincrease #gaming #rampocolypse

@ChristianMccal And VR will still be here for entertainment as well. Full immersion for gaming or movies and stuff is just amazing!

@ChristianMccal I see your point and I do agree with you that it isn’t ready yet. To clarify, I think smart glasses will be more practical for people to use everyday wherever they are and could potentially replace phones one day.

Apple Vision Pro should be discontinued at this point. It is an engineering masterpiece and great specs, but tech just moves so fast it feels outdated. The future is smart glasses and I’m pretty sure Apple has been hard at work for years on actually bringing one to market. VisionOS on smart glasses would be amazing! Imagine Apple Silicon in smart glasses with the great performance and battery life🤯

Can @GamersNexus or @HardwareUnboxed or @LinusTech compare the Intel Arc B580 GPU against the Intel Arc B390 iGPU. Curious to see what the performance difference is between those at both 1080p and 1440p with low to medium settings in a bunch of games. Especially with the rumors of Intel pulling out of the discrete GPU market (whether it’s true or not) If their iGPUs progress faster than their discrete GPUs, would @intel fully focus on that instead?

GOOD MOVES! Making Xbox focus more on its community is the way to go! No AI, making game pass cheaper, bring back exclusivity to sell more Xbox consoles, undercut the price for Project Helix against the PS6, make Halo and Gears good again (& other OG Xbox exclusives). Xbox 720! We need more competition in the console space to not have outrageous pricing. Go Xbox!

Xbox needs to move faster, deepen our connection with the community, and address friction for both players and developers.
Today, we promoted leaders who helped build Xbox, while also bringing in new voices to help push us forward. This balance is important as we get the business back on track.
As part of this shift, you’ll see us begin to retire features that don’t align with where we’re headed. We will begin winding down Copilot on mobile and will stop development of Copilot on console.

This @PlayStation DRM issue is a key factor on why physical media needs to still exist. People who buy games should own them regardless of being connected to the internet 24/7 or every 30 days. Props to @Nintendo (except game key cards) for having a lot of options for physical games. Yes PlayStation and Xbox still have discs, but most of the data isn’t on the disc and some models of those consoles don’t have a disc drive anymore. The solution? Game studios and publishers and/or console manufacturers and/or online video game stores (Steam, Nintendo eShop, PS Store) NEED to step up and not have a license to play but the actual ownership of games bought by people OR there needs to be laws implemented to protect consumers from this bad practice. Stop Killing Games is a fantastic movement! Super awesome to see the momentum that has keep going! #playstation #playstationdrm #videogames #onlinegaming

Hearing more and more about a CPU shortage. Idk if it’s true only time will tell. The 2020s have been horrible for hardware. 2020 we had COVID which stopped production on a LOT of tech and we saw scalping rise tremendously. GPU shortages, RAM crisis, AI taking over, CPU shortage maybe? We need a break😅
