FYI when the steeple is not running, mondo is laid down over the pit and the meter supports.

To all my steeplechasers out there….does this look like nearly a 90 degree left hand turn coming out of the steeple pit?? (And I’m assuming the pit will be cleared of what looks to be metal supports before people are jumping into the water 😬)

The Stade de France 🇫🇷 unveiled for the Paris 2024 Olympics!!😊 The beautiful stadium in Saint-Denis with purple track has been completed and can seat 77,083 spectators. The Olympics starts July 26th, while Track & Field action starts August 1st.

MONSTER WORKOUTS are super impressive to check out on line. Unfortunately they do not mean a whole lot come race day.
BORING CONSISTENCY is much more effective for both development and long term success.

Too bad there was no long term vision for the PanAm games in 2015 (track was ripped up 5yrs later). We could have had a stadium just like this at Centennial Park in Etobicoke.
An already existing track that could have been updated and would be able to host major competitions.

Ripped around Lakeview this morning with my old man. Really lucky to be able to do this at such a GEM of the GTA. @citymississauga did an unbelievable job with the renovations. The only down side is I may now suck at golf 😬
