For the FIRST time, we’re able to share gameplay impressions which really reflects Infinity Ward’s confidence in the game.
This game plays NOTHING like MW2, and doesn’t revert recent titles’ innovation. It built on it.

@GauntletIx The MW4 story has been in development for years and we've put a ton of focus into the narrative and characters, including our biggest cast yet. You'll see things that connect from the previous MW games and new elements yet to be revealed.

MW4 looks super high quality as usual, however I was expecting that the story would be the big finale of this reboot series, seems they’re doing something entirely new instead. Makes me wonder if we’ll even see Farah and the rest of the cast

@InfinityWard @CallofDuty Please do not make the campaign like black ops where a player gets kicked for inactivity and allow for pausing the game.

Seems IW are nailing all the right notes here.
Innovation in modes.
Simple but fluid movement.
Making gunplay more visceral feeling.
A setting that feels different.

Really positive signs that they've understood the assignment. New gunfight mode sounds ace.

Modern Warfare 4 features a unique new map: KILL BLOCK This map features a rectangle layout with 3 slabs, where the slabs changes during a match. The slabs will rotate through places from Crash, Killhouse, Shoothouse, and more. Over 500+ combos possible.

@ModernWarzone Between our new 6v6 maps, Gunfight maps, large-scale maps, all the possibilities in Kill Block, and some returning favorites coming just after launch, you will be busy! Kill Block will have hundreds of combinations at launch.

@Wheeledgamer We want our movement to feel right for Modern Warfare so players can experience the game as a badass soldier. With all new additions, it's the most fluid movement we've ever made.

The movement in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 MP feels like MW2019 and MWIII (2023) combined. It does not feel like MWII at all.

I played MW4 in March and April in addition to the recent visit and I can confidently say that Infinity Ward has been receptive to harsh feedback.
The game in March vs now is DRASTICALLY different in a good way
