@ScapeSquad I was thinking about it the other day: If $BTC max cap is ~21M and $Kas is ~28B whatever amount we measure *relative to the max cap* in $BTC has to be 1367x the value in $KAS. Assuming $KAS will increase in price and 9 $BTC is enough, then looong term 12k $KAS should do it?🤓

@AtRealBen This is why the globalists promote everything related to segregation so hard to the population: Segregate by gender, skin color, age group, nationality, etc. So we don't unite. We can do anything as long as we unite but it's hard to accomplish even without active interference

@Themooseisloos5 @anbrandenburger We are using one super dumb excuse to 100x fees in order to implement a smart solution. Something seems off. The justification is: Kaspa is cheap now. We know for a fact, a lot of people avoid Ethereum mainnet and Bitcoin because the fees are high. This is step just trashes Kaspa

The 100x fee bump. Implications. Usecases like kasia, kaspa drome, K becomes more frictionful. Not massively but true. Actually a simple tx after this bump is kind of equal to the cost of a simple tx on bitcoin (at 1 sat/vbyte) Anyway, this is nothing like bitcoin after toccata. My view of this is only from the worst case POV Toccata increases the total blocksize limit to 250kb (500,000 grams to 1,000,000 grams), throughput increases 2x but the reason for this is that stark proofs are around ~200kb large each. Posting one proof after the bump costs ~0.5 kas. Now if a prover decides to spam more than 10 proofs per second the fee market will start from 0.5 kas and up rather than from 0.005 kas and up. And we don't really want our mempool to be filled up with thousands of 200 kb proofs on every node that would be catastrophic for decentralization. The incentives for a prover is as follows: is the revenue in fees for proving and posting proof higher than the cost of the proving itself and the feerate of posting the proof on L1? If yes then provers will work, if no the provers won't, same as mining, if the cost of operations is higher than the profit you shut down. However if there is a backlog for stark proofs they don't fill up the entire block you can still fit smaller proofs, covTX and normal TXs with base fee, the miners will fill up the blocks as much as possible. As i see it there is different fee markets for different forms of TXs. The network can be congested with bigger pieces like Starks and groth proofs, some normal p2p txs are small enough to fit through. This isn't a security budget question, it is a decentralization question, which is a hardness of security question. If there is demand for computation-apps the fee income for proving will increase, and more proving will be done even if there is an active fee market on L1, as long as the incentive is stronger than the deterrant. A security budget note If we have a constant active mempool forever and an active fee market (high, low, all relative, as is price, doesn't matter) then the security budget is essentially solved.

tn10.kaspa.stream/transactions/0… U know what is that? first post-quantum signature on kaspa just landed. XMSS^MT The script is huge (~84KB) because it has to unroll a loop of ~1,650 hashings on-chain but it verifies. and it works. isn't that cool? toccata to everyone

My main way of getting $KAS through DeFi broke last week and they never fixed it. I lost the opportunity to by Kaspa at 0.02777😐 But today I found a new source so I'm back!🙂

@BredsguardDalen Planned obsolescence. But that's not enough nowadays. Now big companies are trying their best to prevent people from repairing any products or replacing parts. Consumers lose and repair shops lose. Greed is always the root cause
