The purpose of church is to gather and hear the word of God to learn the scriptures to receive the Holy Spirit baptism and to feel the power of God moving for healing and for worship. If your church is all about doctrines you e missed it.

Correct. The Jews made a religion out of the Law. The Law was given because of Transgression, not to make a religion out of it. God is not religious. He demands holiness and is working to change man from unholy to holy. Spiritual surgery for every repentance.
