HAPPENING NOW: President Trump meets with Iraq's prime minister as the U.S. works toward withdrawing troops from the region by September 30th.
The meeting comes as the U.S. prepares to resume its naval blockade against Iranian ships in a matter of hours.
Ahead of the meeting, Trump scrapped his proposed 20% fee to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, saying he doesn't fully agree with charging countries for freedom of navigation. Instead, after talks with leaders from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain, he said the fee would be replaced with trade and investment deals.
