🇺🇸 $100M F-15EX flying over Iran… but missing a key warning system. Let that sit for a bit. It does have EPAWSS, one of the most advanced electronic warfare systems out there. It can jam and confuse incoming threats. But it doesn’t have MAWS… the system that actually tells the pilot a missile is coming, especially heat-seekers. And that’s the gap. Radar won’t always warn you. Heat-seeking missiles come in fast, quiet, no clear spike. MAWS is what catches what radar misses. Here’s the weird part… Boeing kept the mounting points for MAWS on the jet. It’s literally built to carry it. The space is there. It’s just empty. Meanwhile Saudi and Qatar versions have it. The U.S. one doesn’t. One F-15E is already down over Iran. We still don’t know what hit it. That jet didn’t have MAWS either. The EX at least has the housing… just not the system.
