📢 गुरुग्राम: शहरी विकास से जुड़ी परियोजनाओं को लेकर बैठक
हरियाणा सरकार के शहरी विकास विभाग के प्रधान सलाहकार श्री डी. एस. ढेसी की अध्यक्षता में जिला स्तरीय समन्वय समिति की 8वीं बैठक आयोजित हुई, जिसमें शहर के बुनियादी ढांचे और पर्यावरण सुधार को लेकर अहम निर्देश दिए गए।
GMDA के सीईओ श्री पी.सी. मीणा, डीसी श्री अजय कुमार, नगर निगम गुरुग्राम के आयुक्त श्री प्रदीप दहिया व डीसीपी ट्रैफिक श्री राजेश मोहन सहित अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी बैठक में शामिल हुए।
🔹 सीवरेज व्यवस्था में बड़ा बदलाव
✔️ गुरुग्राम मेट्रोपॉलिटन डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी अब सेक्टर 81–115 के 69 किमी लंबे सीवर नेटवर्क का जिम्मा संभालेगा
✔️ स्थानीय स्तर पर सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट के लिए माइक्रो STP बनाए जाएंगे
✔️ मौजूदा पाइपलाइनों का संयुक्त निरीक्षण कर सुधार किया जाएगा
💧 भूजल दुरुपयोग पर सख्ती
✔️ राष्ट्रीय हरित अधिकरण के निर्देशों के बाद अवैध बोरवेल पर कार्रवाई
✔️ ट्रीटेड पानी का उपयोग निर्माण, बागवानी व धूल नियंत्रण में अनिवार्य
✔️ नियमित निरीक्षण अभियान चलाने के निर्देश
🚧 इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर प्रोजेक्ट्स को रफ्तार
✔️ वाटिका चौक से NH-48 तक एलिवेटेड कॉरिडोर का टेंडर जारी

Calcutta has other problems. We must not brush them away.
But just on cleanliness, most parts of the city are way cleaner than even posh pockets of Delhi or Mumbai. Anyone who is not consumed by hatred notices it and comments on it.

@patralekha2011 I recently visited Calcutta after two decades and was pleasantly surprised. The city has improved significantly: the roads were relatively clean, the pavements walkable, and the city full of energy.

Kolkata has not seen a single new flyover in the last five years. Despite having fewer vehicles than Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi, Kolkata has the slowest traffic in India. While other major cities have moved towards cleaner fuels like CNG, Kolkata’s taxis are still running on diesel. Almost every road in the city, including Salt Lake, is filled with potholes and patchwork. There is no serious road construction happening. And yet, we are told everything is fine. This is not just about traffic or bad roads. This is about lost time, daily frustration, damaged vehicles, and a city that is slowly being pushed backwards. In the 2024 budget, CM Mamata Banerjee allocated ₹150 crore for the EM Bypass–New Town flyover.
A 7.1 km flyover from EM Bypass Metropolitan Crossing to Mahishbathan near Panache Apartments, with a total cost of ₹727 crore.
It includes 3 entry ramps at Nicco Park, Nalban, and College More, a double-layer crossing over Chingrighata, and a 1.5 km stretch over wetlands with a special design. It was meant to ease traffic significantly.
The project was supposed to be completed in 18 months.
Two years have passed. Not a single pillar has come up. Not even the first sign of construction on the ground.
Where did the ₹150 crore go? Chai Biscuit?

Spoke with my friend India's Minister of External Affairs @DrSJaishankar and briefed him on developments in our operation against the Iranian terror regime.
I said that the regime is carrying out naval terrorism in the Strait of Hormuz. This is not an American or Israeli issue, it's a fundamental problem affecting world order and the global economy. If this grave phenomenon is not addressed now, it could spread worldwide.
I also addressed the Iranian regime’s aggression toward other countries in the Middle East, the Caucasus, and Europe. I emphasized that the Iranian regime is acting madly.
We value our special strategic partnership with India, the world's largest democracy.
