Received a visit from Israeli Ambassador @reuvenazar to discuss current developments in the region and beyond. It was good to have a frank exchange with a diplomat who enjoys and values candour with friends.

As published by the Board of Peace and the U.S. State Department, the humanitarian activity in the Gaza Strip is managed by the BoP, and this Hamas-led-flotilla is another provocation designed to divert attention from Hamas’s refusal to disarm - and to serve the PR interests of professional provocateurs. The Greek government agreed that the flotilla activists would be disembarked on its shores, and we thank it for that. Saif Abu Keshek, suspected of affiliation with a terrorist organization and Thiago Ávila suspected of illegal activity, will be brought to Israel for questioning. Israel will not allow the breach of the lawful naval blockade on Gaza.

The driving force behind the flotilla provocation is Hamas - joining hands with professional provocateurs - with the aim of sabotaging President Trump’s peace plan transition to its second phase and intended to divert attention from Hamas’s refusal to disarm. Following UN Security Council Resolution 2803, which adopted President Trump’s peace plan, humanitarian activities in the Gaza Strip have been managed by the Board of Peace and the Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC). The CMCC has flooded Gaza with enormous quantities of humanitarian aid - since October 2025 alone, over 1.5 million tons of humanitarian aid and thousands of tons of medical equipment have entered the Strip. Like previous provocations, this is nothing but a PR stunt: a provocation without humanitarian aid. As international media have exposed, these are professional provocateurs on pleasure cruises, addicted to self-promotion.

Met with UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon @JeanineHennis in Jerusalem. I emphasized that Hezbollah continues to violate the ceasefire, against Lebanon’s interests, thus undermining the ceasefire. Under pressure by the Iranian regime, Hezbollah has launched roughly 10,000 rockets, missiles, and drones at Israel since March 2nd. Many of these attacks were launched near UNIFIL positions. We are seeing an increasingly dangerous pattern: Hezbollah systematically deploys its terrorists and assets next to UNIFIL stations, taking advantage of UNIFIL’s presence for its hostile actions. Hezbollah is using these positions for surveillance against IDF forces and is moving its terrorists in vehicles identical to those of UNIFIL. The Government of Lebanon must act decisively against Hezbollah and its terrorists, including through financial measures targeting its sources of funding.

Yesterday I met in my office with an extraordinary group of young men and women. Christian soldiers and commanders from a wide range of IDF units. They serve in key roles across our military and they do outstanding, dedicated work. This reality stands in complete contrast to what is often portrayed outside. Israel not only protects the rights of Christians in the Middle East, it is also home to Christian soldiers who serve shoulder to shoulder with their fellow soldiers, defending the State of Israel and their Christian brothers and sisters across the region. I listened to their personal stories. Their commitment, their sacrifice, the path they chose. I was deeply impressed. Israel is the one country in the Middle East where the Christian community not only lives in safety, but thrives, grows and succeeds. I salute you.
