@JadeAddon @DannyParkins Way worse. I mean to be up by that much and have an epic collapse? Orlando needs therapy before game 7.

Not hyperbole that Magic loss is one of the worst losses in the history of sports.

@MichaelRedd_ If he retired tomorrow he’s a hall of famer. 6 time all-star averaging 22 and 11 over 11 seasons. He’s already in

I (admittedly) care about lists more than most, and I get irrationally upset at how many folks casually throw around “Top 10 All Time” and use it to refer to ~15 players. So, inspired by Jokic, I made this. A nice tiered list of 22 NBA legends, and where each is in that debate.

@knickzfeed Mitchell is hella overrated. Super talented but isn’t clutch. He gets a lot of his points in meaningless moments. There is a reason he’s been a 1 seed twice and has never even gotten past the second round. JB FRIES him.

Only reason I’m scared of Philly is because of their tactics last playoff series vs. them, too many potential injuries to endure Then, also, I’m more afraid of Tyrese Maxey than probably anyone else in the East aside from Donovan Mitchell who is probably on the same level

@NYK_Mentality85 Umm he’s also a SEVEN time all star and the greatest shooting big man of all time. Frankly if he never changed a damn thing he was a first ballot HOF. Really happy he evolved & it makes us more dangerous but there is alot of coding & misplaced homophobic hate around KAT

A lot of these dudes on this app who lived inside of Karl-Anthony Towns hate spaces for 6-8 per day (every day) nitpicking/criticizing/name calling and slandering him are now the same exact fans backtracking in order to act and pretend as if Karl-Anthony Towns "just started playing good in the Playoffs" and I don't respect it. Karl-Anthony Towns been feasting throughout his previous 35 Games (ever since early February) and he's been the most dominant Knick throughout the previous 3-Months. Previous 35 Games (Including the Playoffs). 20.1 Points. 11.8 Rebounds. 3.6 Assists. FG% of .568%. 3PT% of .400%. FT% of .879%. 3 Triple-Doubles. Top-5 Defensive Win Share within entire NBA. +/- of +257 (#1 on the Team). He started to turn the corner over 50 games ago but he's been (without question) the most dominant Knick throughout the previous 35 Games but yet now they're trying to create a new narrative of "KAT just recently started playing good" when he's been elite for the past 3 months. It's all fucking horse shit narratives of theirs.

@KevinHe57306966 @680TheFan Of course that’s the goal an we’re moving towards it. What does that have to do with yall not being in our stratosphere as a team? Little advice, Before you compete for a championship you have to be able to not lose a win or go home game, at home by FIDDY.

Does Quin Snyder deserve to be FIRED after a historic 51-point playoff loss? "I don't know how you defend what he did over the last 3 games... you can't fire the whole team, but you can fire the coach... aside from that run where they went 20–5 late in the season, Quin Snyder has not paid dividends... someone's got to pay the price." - @CelliniNick #TrueToAtlanta @chrisdimino

@KevinHe57306966 @680TheFan We just beat you by 100 plus points over 6 games, A record. 51 in an elimination game. a record. & you lost by 32 PPG The last 3. That’s right now. Historically we’ve been to 8 finals with 2 chips and ATL been to 0—you’ve been to TWO CONF finals. TWO EVER.

@Schmeelk This will go down as one of the great career changes in history if they win a chip. Coughlin is a similar one. It happens so rarely.

Here's a Karl-Anthony Towns appreciation post. KAT is playing the best basketball of his career on both ends of the floor. He is more patient, playing smarter, and much more in control physically + emotionally. There are fewer out of control drives, running into defenders and hitting the deck yelling for a foul. There are fewer unnecessary dumb fouls on offense and defense whipping his arms around for no reason. His rim protection is much better. He is moving much more without the ball on offense and in rotation on defense. He seems to be playing with more joy. He has really embraced his role and figured out a way (along with the team/coach), even if a little unique, to make teams pay for cross-matching smalls against him - whether this is hitting the offensive glass, getting better position without the ball for easy catch and finishes (or passes), or distributing as a hub of the offense. His passing has been excellent. This might mean fewer shots overall and that's okay because it means greater efficiency for his shooting and a better overall offense for the team. Teams will continue to test him with smaller defenders and in different ways than the Hawks did, and he needs to keep answering. KAT deserves credit for buying in but Mike Brown also deserves praise for pushing KAT into a role that will work for the team and in the long run is better for him as an individual. It was very rocky at points this season but both men worked at it and figured it out. In the playoffs he is looking like a player that can be the number two option on a championship team. KAT has also been better on defense to the point where he has been a plus in certain situations around the rim. He isn't lagging behind getting back in transition. If the Knicks get the Sixers in round two, he will still need to make sure he gets high enough on those Maxey PnR's where he wants to dribble into a three and avoid falling for Embiid's flop game. Against the Celtics, rotating when needed to three point shooters will be key. But overall, his defense has been more than good enough within the Knicks structure. Credit to Mike Brown and his staff for adjusting the defense to allow this too. It can be very hard for a 30 year old All-NBA player to meaningfully change the way he plays and improve in vital areas but KAT has done that and he deserves all the flowers. It started the last 6-8 weeks of the regular season and has gotten better in the playoffs. It has been a pleasure to watch a player turn a ridiculous set of tools and talent into a impactful winning player against good teams. I was skeptical he could get here but he has. I've called KAT the weather vane for the Knicks all season, and he certainly has them pointing in the right direction heading into the Eastern Conference semis. I doubted whether he could be one of the central figures of a championship team but the way he has played of late - on both ends - he certainly can be.
