VERY scary thing happened today: Was at a red light and almost got rear-ended. It seemed accidental. BUT when I looked in the rear view mirror, the driver was talking to himself and yelling. When the light turned green, he accelerated extremely fast and slammed his brakes just inches behind me, then did it again. So to avoid him, I switched into the other lane, but he followed me and continued to do it. So I switched into the suicide lane to let him pass, and AGAIN, he followed me. I floor it, at this point, I'm going nearly 65 in a 35. He's STILL behind me, but now, obviously trying to ram me. Then, out of nowhere, a car from the lane to my right tries to merge in front of me, which causes me to swerve into oncoming traffic. When I say I was feet from going head to head with another car. I MEAN it. I had to hard turn back into my lane, which caused my car to completely fish tail. I regained control to only see this dude still flooring it towards my car. So I sped up, and half a block later took a sharp turn into a parking lot. Luckily, my car is built for this type of driving because as I turn in, the guy tried doing the same thing and completely lost traction causing him to spin out, sending him flying onto the sidewalk and into a tree. 2 of his tires pop, and he floors it off the sidewalk and just takes off. My wife nearly threw up once we got to a safe spot. Had crazy adrenaline shakes for like a solid hour straight.
