Earlier today, the crew from Tower 18 responded to a motor vehicle accident on C-470. Two people were transported from the scene for medical care, but they weren’t the only passengers involved. Two dogs were also in the vehicle and, thankfully, they were not injured. The Tower 18 crew brought them back to the station where they’re currently being treated like VIPs (Very Important Pups) while we work to get them reunited with family.

My gut feeling: The last 2 at-large spots will go to Miami and Alabama. Notre Dame will be the odd team out. Miami beat Notre Dame. Head-to-head has to matter if all else is close. Alabama has 2 wins better than Notre Dame's best win. Good wins outweigh a bad loss. Alabama played a 4-week stretch tougher than anyone in the country and went 4-0. Alabama reached the conference championship game in the best conference in the country. Notre Dame arranges its entire schedule and doesn't face the pressure of conference games or a conference championship game. Notre Dame hasn't played a playoff team since Sept. 13.
