If the “2.1 lbs” isn’t completely made up to avoid Holloway being charged under trafficking statutes in AL(2.2 lbs)… he’d have to be cranking out 3-5 joints a day to avoid the weed going bad even if he was storing it properly. This isn’t about him burning the devil’s lettuce for personal use. This is about him being a dealer. They made sure to put “2.1 lbs” to make sure he may could still be reinstated to play in the tournament if they make it past the first weekend.

In case you were wondering, the NCAA stopped testing for marijuana use in 2024. The rationale: It's not a performance-enhancing drug.
