$XRP couldn't have more upside.
While this may seem a little tin-foil hat, but I believe my logic is sound despite being an extremely contrarian, extremely unlikely, and probably even hated, view.
Trump, a day before starting his presidency, created a Trump meme coin. This was massively controversial.
This set the tone for his entire second term, and largely his legacy as a whole. Since then, even more controversial actions:
- World Liberty Financial, WLFI, was created as his sons project.
- USD1 was created
- October 10th, amidst China Trade negotiations, was the biggest deleveraging and realized loss event in Crypto's history.
- USD1 is majority held by CZ, founder of Binance.
- Days after October 10th, CZ received a pardon from Trump.
- The Trump sons are deeply involved in American Bitcoin, a mining company.
More recently:
- Insider trading is massive, recurring theme in Trump's legacy.
- His trading of NVDA and other equities have received a ton of attention.
- Max controversy has come to head with Trump and his family receiving protection from IRS audits in his most recent settlement.
On the surface you may want to read this as it is presented: Trump and his family is corrupt or Trump is an idiot for launching a meme coin.
Look deeper:
- One of the most impactful days for XRP last year was when trump tweeted about the Crypto Strategic Reserve, listing XRP first.
- A recurring theme that is talked about by the Trump family is de-banking and the fraudulent banking system (and system as a whole).
- Executive orders focusing on remove fraud from government, revolutionizing treasury payment systems, reducing the federal reserves power, building crypto stock pile.
- CZ holding all USD1 brings the largest exchange worldwide (located in China, so double benefit) into the fold for alignment in the vision.
- No holdings of XRP, while simultaneously emphasizing his entire presidency how he plans to make America the crypto capital of the world.
- Massive emphasis on SEC and biden-era lawfare.
- He just signed an executive order directing the Federal Reserve to review crypto and fintech firms' access to payment accounts and services, ordering regulators to identify and remove barriers to entry within three months. Ripple is directly impacted.
How I view this:
- Trump, like everything else he does, is using the general populations hate of him to his advantage.
- There is a reason that Trump, his sons, WLFI, Kevin Warsh all have NO exposure to XRP documented - while being massively pro-american crypto.
- Trump wants his legacy to be known for freeing America from the central banking system.
- The way Trump has been dealt with by the system is perfectly aligned with how Ripple and XRP have been dealt with by the system. The parallels are uncanny.
- Trump ultimately wants to ban government involvement in trading (ie. Pelosi Indicator)
Think about what actions are being taken, not what Trump is saying. It's very intentional that ALL of the things people CAN claim to be "insider trading" do not involved XRP. He maximizing the amount of attention he can on himself being "enriching himself and his family" - so that when it comes time to enact the real solution, that won't even be up for debate. It also gains public support for the things that otherwise would never happen (like banning congress/senate from trading) and pushes his opponents to either get behind that legislation (to "attack" trump) or risk losing their seats.
In other words - he is dangling himself out for the public to tear him apart (which they would be right in doing so), so that XRP, the trojan horse, can enter the system without appearing as a threat. The more attention he can bring to himself and his family and their dealings, the less of a threat XRP is because there is no association. This is very intentional in my mind.
IF you are actually going to change the financial system and stake your legacy on doing it - you would not leave anything up to chance... You make sure to give yourself the highest possible likelihood of a low-probability outcome, and I believe that everything he has done attributes to that.
I don't love everything Trump does. Perhaps I drank the XRP kool aid. I've got my money where my mouth is and history is written by the winners, so time will tell.
TLDR; If you are going to shoot the king, don't miss. Trump doing very public things that look stupid, brazen, or illegal, are ensuring that he doesn't miss.
