No rule can give the CFTC spot authority over digital assets, grant new sanctions authority against adversaries, or protect developers from unwarranted prosecution. Only Congress can. The Clarity Act is the only path that works.

Just so we’re all clear.. if Clarity Act does not pass, we fall back to agency rulemaking which will be good enough for now. It’ll be difficult to unwind those rules, the law simply codifies them. The law can literally arrive much later.

Today marks exactly 3 years since Judge Torres ruled in the Ripple vs. SEC case. That decision was a major turning point and the beginning of the end of the prev. SEC war on crypto. Court made it clear in dicta: XRP itself is not a security. A lot changed since then to the positive imo, a more crypto friendly administration and the CLARITY act that is important to move forward for investors, innovation and businesses to provide the regulatory certainty needed for mass adoption.

For the first time, crypto is positioned inside a productivity boom we haven't seen since the 90's. There's plenty of debate about the 4-year cycle, but this is way bigger than a calendar. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent just laid out a strategy centered on rebuilding American manufacturing capacity while positioning stablecoins, tokenization, and digital assets as instruments of U.S. economic leadership.
