@3D_director Yes! I've been using Blender seriously for a few years now and I'm really happy with it. Of course I tried using it years ago before the big overhaul and didn't enjoy the experience. However since the revamp I'm really happy and think it's awesome!

@JoeSaltzman No probs. ExSoftimager here. Welcome to the resistance. I just drove hair groom after 13 years (last time in Softimage), now in Blender, and I'm impressed. Still early development, but the speed is blazing fast (4 seconds per frame in a GTX1080ti). You're gonna like Blender.

Would it be too much to ask for a schematic view in Blender similar to what Softimage used to have? Please? #Blender3d #b3d

@3D_director I'm not going to lie, I really enjoy working with Blender nowadays and the experience just keeps getting better and better.

@JoeSaltzman Next week Blender 3.5 will be released, and sometimes (honestly) feels like cheating in 3D. Turbo responsive realtime compositing viewport, shaders, procedural geometry, sculpting is top AAA+. Udim and USD support. Did I say realtime chroma key?

@JoeSaltzman It's called the depth graph, and it's just a tag name for the internal code handling all objects in the scene. Sadly, no dev plans to integrate a schematic view in the next 4 years.

@3D_director I see that you were having a problem getting the GES import/export addon for blender working. I am having the same issue, did you find out how to install? I can't seem make it work with any version of blender. How do I make this work ?

@3dMD Did you ever develop a utility or application to transfer 3d camera data from a ".tsb" file to a format like ".fbx" or ".abc" ? Is it possible to export camera position, rotation and other attributes to a DCC application such as Blender 3D?

Just to be clear I'm really looking for a software engineer / technical director as this is a matter of data integration. I'm looking to find someone with a deep technical / mathematical & coding knowledge regarding 3D scanning cameras and data transfer to blender 3d.
