@xeofrios I'm not sure I understand how to lock the effect to just one particular vertex group -- I've tried setting the vertex group for spread and hardness but it still affects the rest of the object's geometry. Am I missing something?

@Ceepert 4.0 should be enough. If the demos are working then it can't be a version issue. Are you appending the node group into your file, or appending your own model to the demos file?

@DemNikoArt Thanks! The mesh is displaced along the normals, so it might look like the different parts are sticking more. Maybe also because the inflation profile shape.

@wolfstudioart @luwizart You can easily add the world space acceleration to the gravity vector. Though calculating that acceleration might be tricky if you are not familiar with the math.
