Former LA City Council Candidate Now Campaign Manager for CR Celona for LA City Council

The RESET Center is our first performance based contract for public health or homeless services. It will fill the gap between jail and emergency rooms, to tackle public drug use and create a new assertive treatment path. Our new contractor, Arizona-based Connections Health Solutions, will be paid based upon performance against clear metrics: 1. Officer turnaround time 2. Operational staffing levels 3. Retention and conversion to treatment We need more accountability and better results in our contracted spend. This is a start, and a preview of more to come.

Exactly! I am mystified by this attack on @nithyavraman when she is literally the only LA elected official that tried to lead on ULA reform. I for one see the willingness to reconsider past positions when presented with new evidence as a real asset for an elected official.

ICE agents can't stage on city property in LA anymore. Mayor Bass has signed an executive directive stopping federal immigration agents from using any city-owned or controlled property. Bass says she did it to protect LA from the federal government

Councilmembers Rodriguez, Hernandez, Jurado, Padilla, Price, & Soto-Martinez moving to ask the LAPD Chief to join them in Council Chambers for a conversation about LAPD crowd-control tactics at protests. This will be on Tuesday's agenda.

I’m proud to have the support of Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martinez, a partner who shares a deep commitment to progressive, people-first policies. Together, we’ve strengthened tenant protections, advanced housing stability, and worked to address homelessness and community safety. Thank you, Hugo, for your endorsement and for standing with us as we build a more just and affordable Los Angeles.

In one week, cars killed 5 people in LA, including a pregnant mother & her unborn child. The City paid out $318 million in Dangerous Condition Liabilities since 2020 while investing only 5% of its annual budget in street services & transportation. These deaths were preventable.

No one in charge gives a shit if you live or die if you're outside of a car

Just listened to @MayorOfLA say that “public safety is more than police…” and started to talk about other safety issues, such as streetlights being out. She didn’t say one word about the hundreds of pedestrians killed by traffic violence last year, or the thousands injured.
