Jesus says
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart”
the woman caught an adultery that the men brought to Jesus to trap him
Jesus did not condemn her like the chauvinistic men that brought her to him
@Z3T4theartist@Justforbeans91 That’s for everyone! What did he specifically say about women?? Like did he tell yall how to treat, respect and look at women like they are humans that have dreams and opinions? He didn’t even have one female disciple mind you🙄
@Justforbeans91@jumbocream@TMZ Your response lets me know you are bias and uneducated. Do I have to bring up other stories about how race played apart in black people being murdered and one I can bring up was a child? Like it or not some white people are racist and do judge harshly over skin color!
To remove sin ultimately On judgement day
How can Jesus remove sin from us if it isn’t in us?
“We have sin in us” the bible claims this
“He died to remove that sin from us”
Not remove sin that day, and stop death from ever occurring from then on like some magic spell over everyone
Life still goes on as it was until his return
“The wages of sin is death”
Yes death
Then you say, but everybody dies, and still dies after crucifixion
That is exactly what it means…
We’re paid in death for sin
It’s our just cause, what we deserve.
Our souls are dead towards Christ we read
Physical death is the body
Spiritual death is separation from God.
All can be forgiven for those ask and repent.
Christ paid the debt so we wouldn’t have to
@Justforbeans91@DRBowman65@xonphused "Jesus died [at least temporarily]to remove that sin from us"
But he didn't really "remove" anything if, as you said, "We have sin in us."
"The wages of sin is death" but everyone died before and still dies after the Crucifixion.
In Christian mythology did Jesus really sacrifice himself since he knew he was going to come back to life? Can it really count as a sacrifice?
I mean if I know for a fact I would come back to life, I would play along too🤷🏽♂️
So honestly what did Jesus sacrifice? He got his life back and went back to heaven to enjoy luxury.
A sacrifice for me would be if he stayed dead, maybe in hell holding back the forces of evil from tormenting and tempting the world🤷🏽♂️
Just my thoughts though. What do you think?
He’s not gong to force you to live with him and the people that love him
He’s giving us exactly what we desire
Either a relationship with him here on earth and for eternity in heaven
Or no relationship, denying his existence here. Hell was for Satan and his angels
It’s justice for evil and sin. It wasn’t for man
We have sin in us, Jesus died to remove that sin from us to pay the ransom for sin
The wages of sin is death we read
Our evil deeds are paid with death
This is how serious sin is to God.
You would want the proud murderous and the adulterous, liars and so on… to get there justice for being so self righteous in their evil deeds…
You don’t have to accept this obviously
Thanks
@QuestionErythng@DRBowman65@xonphused What is you issue with that?
All claims have to be written down eventually for the future generations don’t they?
@Justforbeans91@DRBowman65@xonphused There are claims. Manuscripts are just copies of claims, all of which date from decades to centuries after the alleged events.
There is no archeological evidence of Jesus.
@Justforbeans91@jumbocream@TMZ I’m talking about how white people treat black people. Do you think it’s fair to not have some people on the jury to be the same race as the defendant?
@QuestionErythng@DRBowman65@xonphused You used the words “none” and “nothing”
There is evidence
We have manuscript evidence, archaeological evidence etc.
it just doesn’t meet your standard of evidence
@Justforbeans91@DRBowman65@xonphused Thanks for the reply.
That didn't address the questions.
You used the word "evidence" but we have none. All we have is a story. Nothing separates this story from other stories.
We read that he was sinless
Murdering somebody that is innocent is evil
He made the claim he would rise up in three days and pulled it off
That’s what separates him from anyone else making these same dashes claims throughout history.
The best evidence we have is Jesus was the only one that pulled it off
Can’t prove it, can’t disprove it
Faith based on evidence
@Justforbeans91@DRBowman65@xonphused There's questions around just how willing it was but how does Jesus being wrongfully punished for a different crime absolve original sin?
That idea was probably contrived after his death to retcon why he died without fulfilling Messianic prophecy.
@him_name802@jumbocream@TMZ How Black people treat Black people differently because they’re black
White people treat white people differently because they’re white
I’ll have a clear history of how they treat one another
@DRBowman65@xonphused They deserve the pain and suffering for their crimes.
Jesus willingly took the pain and suffering and was innocent
Do you want justice or do you want Grace?
@DRBowman65@xonphused Again, he willingly suffered and went on the cross
The other two were criminals and were guilty
They received justice for their crimes. Jesus committed no crime and was still tortured and killed.
@Justforbeans91@jumbocream@TMZ No its not. All different races should be required in a juror. White people have a clear history on how they view black people.
@Justforbeans91@jumbocream@TMZ That is definitely not what racism is. You should look up the definition. However lets not act like a bunch of white people judging a black person is not an issue. Unless you think racisms isnt a thing anymore.
