Her stress levels have been through the roof lately. And with good reason..

@EvieAmeliaSong Kate let a small amount of confusion wash over her face at how stern Evie was but Osgood arrived so she waved to Robin then followed Evie up to her office. “I feel like we need to clear the air” Kate began upon taking a seat

@EvieAmeliaSong Kate noticed and gave a brief nod, finishing her conversation before heading over. She had quickly text Osgood to come pick up Robin so they could talk. “Somewhere quieter?” She asked Evie

@scoutsjourney Evie smiles, eyes flicking towards Kate for a brief moment. She wants- no needs- to talk to her. "Well, I'm very glad you did," she says, a hand on her shoulder.

Though she would never admit it out loud, Kate is currently very stressed.

@EvieAmeliaSong Kate could sense the tension, it seemed a chat once she returned was inevitable. But that was part of being a leader: making difficult decisions that didn’t always work out as intended. “I’m glad she’s okay. Thank you for looking after her. We shouldn’t be too long”

@KateLethbridgeS "I see, Ma'am. Robin's fine and with me in my office. I don't need to be anywhere right now so just come and get her when you're able to. She'll be fine with me."

She had a call from @EvieAmeliaSong “Is Robin okay?”

@EvieAmeliaSong “Did something happen? I told her to stay in the room” Kate let out a sigh, glad that at least Evie had found her. “I had to make a quick decision. As you well know, things can happen at the drop of a hat. I’d usually leave her with Osgood but she’s not.. up to it”

@KateLethbridgeS "Yeah, I've got her, Ma'am," Evie replies into the receiver, keeping a close eye on Robin as she does so. "And if you don't mind me saying so, Ma'am, whilst this is a secure building that doesn't mean it's a suitable place to leave a child unaccompanied."

@AutonWolverine Don’t worry she won’t be going undercover again, at least for a long time. Right now she’s not even fit for work.

@KateLethbridgeS He’s going to put in a request to be the one assigned to Osgood if she’s ever put undercover again.

Kate is never normally one for worrying too much, and yet today her worry levels have been off the charts

@BrigadierGordon - what she had said to Shirley hurt even more. Plus she knew it would’ve frightened Robin seeing her like that. “Of course. She missed you a lot, I worried if modern day UNIT would be too dangerous for her but I would do anything to keep her safe”

@BrigadierGordon “Stressed” she admits quietly, finding herself unable to lie to him. With the usual stress of her job plus his disappearance and the incident with the toymaker it has not been an easy time. “I guess that’s just the job though, it’s what we sign up for after all”

@KateLethbridgeS "So I've heard. That's partly why I called you over here." He pulls back slightly and looks her in the eyes. "How've you been, Tiger?"
