Well, I’ve just had a truly horrible experience. Was sitting on my couch, watching basketball, dinner in the oven. And my brother called. He said “are you home?” Yes. “Good. I need you to go to aunt Paula’s. She’s dead. Grandpa is there alone” I raced out of my house. When I got there my grandpa was sitting on her front porch with a police officer, all alone. He started wailing as soon as I pulled up. I’ve never heard anything like it. They think she had a heart attack. My grandpa talks to her every night at 5. He called tonight and she didn’t answer so he went over to check on her. He found her laying on the floor. I’m so heartbroken. Parents shouldn’t have to bury their kids and my grandpa will now have had to bury both of his. And now he’s so worried about how to pay for the funeral and we’re trying to figure out how to get my sister home from Texas. Hug your loved ones, friends. They could be gone before you know it.
