Today crews attended a large spread fire on Scolt Head Island due to a disposable BBQ. - Disposable BBQs should not be used in public parks or open green spaces. - Do not leave them unattended. - Ensure fully extinguished to ensure it's out before safe disposal.

Eventful 24 hours for the Curlew team! Our truck burst into flames & is no longer. Thankful for the help of the emergency services & the quick thinking of the team, who are all safe & well. We've lost most of our kit, leaving just our ringing pliers retrieved from the debris.
