@jan_murray Janet for the love of all that is good... PLEASE just shut the fuck up with this latest shameful grift.
You've gone from attacking a disabled charity to weaponising cancer for clicks. And what's the latest? The plight of Palestinians?
You have no soul.
Please. Fuck. Off.
This is the film that Uwe Bol will be remembered for. It's not particularly good, though it is by far Uwe Bol's best. The film is redeemed by a superb lead actor in Armie Hammer and by having an explicit message and moral sense which the star monologues into the camera time and again like something out of an Ayn Rand novel.
In some ways it is an Ayn Rand novel put to screen, except in this version John Galt is not a genius engineer, he just has autism, a sense of justice and a gun.
@GRCinemaTicket I enjoyed it quite a bit as a basic action flick. Definitely 3.5, and I will re watch it at some point, but obviously not a masterpiece but if you want to be entertained this could hit the spot
Hot take: First Blood is a great movie, and it’s been all but forgotten. It bears no resemblance to any of its sequels, which are big, loud, and stupid.
@vegastarr It’s not that bad man, kids still like going out to the park and some of them actually make new friends. But those predisposed to isolation probably suffer more as it gives them an excuse to stay home and do nothing

That's not a box office story. That's a mandate.
@CultureCrave@PuckNews Peeler’s output as a director seems to be the definition of the law of diminishing returns. I hope he proves me wrong with his next film
Jordan Peele reportedly has finished the script for his next film
• Universal is on board
• A release date or casting isn’t expected for a few months

It tends to be one of these:
Magnolia is among the worst movies ever made (despite a great performance from Tom Cruise, and good work from Jason Robards and Philip Seymour Hoffman).
Tim Burton's Batman movies are just as bad as Joel Schumacher's, just in a different way.
The Matrix is a 4/10 movie, where Neo and Trinity would be more believable as siblings than they are as lovers.
Daniel Day-Lewis is not good in There Will Be Blood, and the movie isn't good either.
David Lynch only made one good movie, Mulholland Drive (which is a masterpiece, though I admit I still haven't seen Fire Walk with Me or The Straight Story)
Funny Games is an offensive movie.
@TheCriticalDri2 I haven’t watched your video yet, I will tomorrow, but thoroughly enjoyed this film after a bit of a rocky start. I’ll definitely watch it again at some point.
Matt Damon reveals why James Bond is fake and Bourne felt so real as a film
"I showed my kids its fantastic...Doug created that whole franchise and in response to James Bond funnily enough Doug said I just don't relate as an American to this guy"
"we need our kind of guy and need to be the opposite...from the actions from the fact that you watch those movies there is a part of you that really believes that stuff could be happening"
"James Bond always exists in the world of we know this isn't real...I read the script all the time and it is such an amazing script"
@thirdmetax Porn addiction is really an addiction to novelty. And it’s avoidant behaviour, meaning you have a problem you are not dealing with so you do this instead. It’s not got much to do with sex or depravity even though it may look like that
Terry Crews reveals just how bad his porn addiction got
“I got a day off from the set, and I could watch porn from probably 10 o’clock after my workout, 10am to 11pm at night”
“It wouldn’t stop and I couldn’t stop, it was what you would call a splurge, I just couldn’t stop”
“When day turns into night and you’re still watching, I knew I had a problem”
Care about all rape victims and protecting girls? Then let's investigate White grooming gangs too.
If the demand for inquiries only appears when the perpetrators belong to a particular group, then the issue was never the victims.
