We are on the verge of witnessing a potentially immense new surge in the scale of war crimes by Trump & Netanyahu. Both are out of control. The very least the UK should do is to make it clear that they will join with other states to pursue both through the courts for these crimes

I’m just going to say it, re the ceasefire in the #IranWar - neither side has ‘won’. Iran’s military and its command structure is decimated and yet it has emerged strategically stronger. It now effectively controls the Strait of Hormuz. Which it didn’t before this war.

Spent 24 hours in A&E as no beds available elsewhere. Then over 24 hours in a ward corridor with another desperately confused old lady. The NHS is a disorganised 💩 show.

@kathdiggle @AllisonPearson @LeckeyNigel @BBCNews Last year my late wife had a super aggressive Lymphatic Cancer…when moved from the Day Centre to a Ward she had stay on a chair for around 30-hrs in the wards “holding area”, as she was deemed “fit to sit”….they did two blood transfusions whilst she was in the chair!

@EliAfriatISR Africa is now coming on stream as a major oil and gas producer. Venezuela is ramping up its oil production. The Middle Eastern countries might be significantly disadvantaged should these tolls continue into the future.

Ships have never paid to use this waterway.
Trump threatened to take them back to the “Stone Age,” and instead he is now giving them an advantage no other country has ever had: an official source of revenue from 20% of the world’s oil supply.
This is not an Iranian achievement, this is a victory.
Iran is expected to bring in tens of billions of dollars a year if this actually comes to fruition.

@nazirafzal Nazir don’t be too certain. The Israelis and Russians are certainly victors. Israel’s main aim was to decapitate the leadership and cause mayhem. They succeeded. They don’t mind continuing with the aggression indefinitely.

@DPJHodges Their command and control structure has been decimated. Their military industry has been decimated. The regime is in control but fragile. A well respected international analyst reckoned the regime would fade away say 6 to 12 months following cessation of the conflict.

@pst27 @AllisonPearson @BBCNews I did have an ECG but it was a considerable time after I had arrived. The doctor followed about an hour afterwards. My GP has very recently referred me for appraisal at the cardiac care unit because I am having to rely more on the GTN spray.
