@Octop3s @Ledger it’s the first time in almost a year, but the Ledger has been acting weird recently, it shuts down automatically during transactions. But this time, it got reset.

Always backup 2-3 copies of the seed phrase. My @Ledger suddenly got reset while doing the transaction...

Hi there, you have the option to set up a password lock in Ledger Wallet™ (formerly Ledger Live) to prevent unauthorized access. This password will encrypt all sensitive user data, including your account names, public addresses, and transaction details. This "auth.unlock" simply seems to a visual bug, with no further impact. I have also reported it to the team immediately!

Updating firmware and Ledger Wallet is always strongly recommended, as it allows you to benefit from the optimal security level and user experience offered by our products. For this reason, often times without firmware updates, activities on Ledger Wallet would not go through, which is what you are facing at the moment. In these cases, firmware update would be necessary. You can update OS of devices via Ledger Wallet mobile version too. I don’t have a computer any more, my @Ledger wont allow me to approve transactions due to needing an update. @Ledger are you planning on dealing with this crap and make it available via mobile?

Hi, it looks like you are actually looking at two different backup methods here. The 'three encrypted fragments' you are quoting refers specifically to Ledger Recover (provided by Coincover). This is an optional, paid subscription service. Ledger Recovery Key on the other hand, is a PIN-protected card designed as a secure, physical offline spare key to your assets. It's crafted to simplify asset recovery and ease the burden of managing the crucial Secret Recovery Phrase, which remains the cornerstone of true digital ownership and self-custody. No KYC. No cloud storage.

@Ledger This is not so clear to me. Ledgers come with one "Ledger Recovery Key" and Ledger does not support Shamir Secret Sharing natively yet. So, what do you mean by "three encrypted fragments stored across independent high security vaults" ?

@Ledger I hold #cardano $ada & I also hold $night & $wmtx ....... why I don't see them on my ledger live? Do you plan to add these 2 CNT's or #cardano holders have to switch to other hardware wallets? Why do you take ages to update #cardano ? Hi, as you might already know, your crypto assets like Hashpack do not exist on the physical Nano device - they all exist on the blockchain. The private keys, which is represented by your 24-word recovery phrase allows you to access those assets.  Apart from this, in the Hedera ecosystem, only a select number of services can create new accounts. While the Ledger Wallet app does not currently offer this onboarding service, alternatives such as Hashpack and Yamgo are available. Once your Hedera account has been onboarded, you can then add it to Ledger Wallet by following the instructions outlined here: support.ledger.com/article/360009…

@Ledger I don’t own a cpu.. is there still a way to get my HashPack onto my Nano Ledger? I’m very disappointed about that as it’s my fav token. I WANT to buy the “Newer” version BUT.. Again, I have no copy. Only iOS..?

Hi there, to clarify slightly, you actually can use MetaMask with your Ledger for simple, direct transfers (like sending standard ETH to another address) without enabling blind signing. However, you are absolutely right that the moment you interact with a smart contract like swapping tokens or using an Ethereum dApp through MetaMask, blind signing becomes required. We agree that clear signing should be the standard of security the crypto space deserves and that is exactly why we are on a massive mission to eliminate it! @Shaggyz5150 Hi! Just to clarify, Monad staking isn’t supported directly through the Ledger Wallet app. However, you can still stake your Monad by connecting your Ledger device to the official monadvision.com. This way, your funds remain secure on your Ledger while you stake.
