An important message from us regarding what's next for Level Zero: Extraction.

@NationBmore Fair point, and I can understand where you're coming from. But during our first playtests, we hadn't seen much excitement from ppl about the original formula. So we decided to switch to extraction, and that yielded better results.

@LevelZeroGame Yea you guys should have never changed it to a extraction shooter. It should have stayed as a 4v2 horror game. And also you should have released on console aswell because games like these need all the people they can get. It's yall fault for this game failure.

@LevelZeroGame Honest opinion: I think re-engineering light mechanics was a mistake, it was such a cool feature for me, something that I was exited

@LevelZeroGame Got the squad on last night after a couple months of not playing and honestly fell in love with it all over again. Will the Mercs-only mode be a permanent thing? I know it goes against what the game was designed for but at least theres no worry of aliens being op etc. Great work!

@actualvillainTV We feel like these two genres just don't mix well. In asym games, balance must be clear and engaging for both sides but in extraction games the focus is on one main faction (mercs in our case) who face resource loss and greater challenges, unlike the aliens.

@actualvillainTV Watched. A great vid with many great points made. I agree that we could do a better job in the player agency field. However, with LZE, we tried to combine the extraction and asym horror genres. And that might've played havoc. ⏬

@SyNickal1 Don't worry, finishing the map doesn't halt other processes:) we're, of course, working on all other aspects. Finding more players is marketing, and it's done in parallel with development
