I will post my last shorts tomorrow, if it doesn't gain traction I'll create a new channel switch to long form content. The expectations for shorts is too high and it kills morale faster than anything. I'll post in both accounts thus.

10% of your subscribers see your content. YouTube has turned the subscription feed into a "for you" feed. The algorithm now decides who sees you based on watch history. Stop optimising for subscribers. Optimise for high demand viral ideas with low supply.
