@FlowChartK3n @DCafiwam Like people who don't know the game think this some new industry plant Ludwig is trying to force on the FGC, or that all entrants were given to anyone even if they didn't play, which aside from the last reg day situation, was not the case at all, and that's just a minority

@FlowChartK3n @DCafiwam I agree tbh. I like both games and 2XKO growth is not "artificial" but it's obvious why it got so big so quick. Ultimately what's so frustrating about this coming from Rivals side is it seems people are acting very negatively due to misinformation or lack of knowledge

This is a wild stray for 2xko unless lud has some crazy inside info I can't think of a single thing riot has done to pump 2xko numbers

@mawjeen Right, but we’re an indie game and I am using whatever leverage I have to help support my game It’s naive to think Riots entrants are “organic” and not a broader campaign done by a billion $$ company with a 50 person marketing team

@MNvow @FlowChartK3n I don't think that factors that much. 99% of people aren't going to see that money so it is only really an attractant for the top 1% of players. It definitely helps the spectacle and ensures the best of the best will be there but I don't think it has much effect on total reg.

ok what black magic did Rivals do to get that high (Combo Breaker numbers)
i'm not saying the game is bad or that these other games are better, just that there is very clearly a discrepancy here
