agoraphobic lol but, I love enjoying my yard/garden and my dog and cat keep me company, my son is grown so, I just piddle around the house play with my dog, once in awhile have someone over, or go do something, but Im fine by myself, however, I was also an only child so, Im master at self entertainment.

Even my own son is like this! He is 21 now but when he was younger he was so interested in fixing his own broken toys and figuring things out etc... I limited his video game time to 1 hour. Made him go out and play etc.... but, he is not living with me any more but has ZERO ambition or desire to do anything. Its infuriating (even though he does not live with me) I dont understand it. When he was 18 my job was completely willing to let him ride with one of the lead techs all day (my job has plumbers, hvac (installers and residential service tech; I am service tech side) geothermal stuff, electricians and appliance techs. He had every opportunity to ride with a tech for a full day from each trade separately (and even free lunch 😀) agreed and then backed out! I was PISSED. I dont get it.

When I was in school for HVAC 13 years ago, they could barely get enough people to even have the minimum for the class to actually take place (usually it was 4 or 6 people) I attribute it to these kids being taught to wanna sit behind a computer. Barely any shop class anymore either, social media is an issue and so are letting video games baby sit them (IMO) they want the easy route. They are being taught to be lazy and brainwashed, and carry an immense amount of debt... debtor is slave to the owner of said debt... again... IMO.

One of my neighbors kid went to trade school for HVAC at 18. His parents were embarrassed because everyone around us, college is the only option promoted. He spent $6k and started at $65k while his friends were still in school. At 25 he got his contractor license. At 27 he opened his own shop. Last year his company did $2.1 million in revenue with 3 trucks. His friends just started to pay off their student loans. Now, my neighbors cant stop bragging about their son who also is our neighborhood HVAC tech. Day 96 tagging @mikeroweworks to let everyone know that we need more kids like this.

@tteeghen Like I said, I could be wrong but, I do know that, the feds put the kai bosh on refineries and now Trump is trying to lift the red tape to get the ones that were being planned built (IF, I am not mistaken) I also wonder if the oil companies raised prices "fraudulently"
