If it is perceived in the region that a deal with Iran allows the regime to survive and become more powerful over time, we will have poured gasoline on the conflicts in Lebanon and Iraq. A deal that is perceived to allow Iran to survive and possess the ability to control the Strait in the future will put Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Shia militias in Iraq on steroids.

I think the @scsenategop are idiots for not doing this before the end of the regular session. Other than that it is a perfectly legal and fine exercise of political power by the legislature. The state lege has the power to ban political parties for purposes of Congressional elections. They have the power to revert to legislatively-selected US Senators. All Constitutional. California kicked this off last year. SC is just dysfunctional and all those No votes by SC State Senators will be their undoing.

@MPowersNorrell So? The party primaries are not a part of the Constitution and there is nothing controlling the SC lege other than the “time, manner, place” rule. Ship people new ballots call it a day.

While Richland election office has made great strides since “the fiasco” by a former director, asking the county to manage (in addition to funding) 3 new Congressional Districts along with the other “regular” June Primaries is begging for history to repeat itself.

Travis Alexander, from the Richland County elections office, now explaining the impact of the proposed maps, which would divide the county into three districts and split some 20 precincts. At minimum, impact is $800,000, less than half of which -- $347k -- will be reimbursed.

Clemson baseball simply wasn't talented enough, as we have said all season. This was always freakin' obvious, it's the reason all teams lose. 0-4 versus Notre Dame, end of story. The portal acquisitions didn't work, you can change whatever you want, it starts with better players. Virtually every team the Tigers faced in league play had better talent and a better lineup. Add in the fact they all had a better Friday starter, and that is why you lose.

@QualkTalk We can all read and process. Your majority party in this state 29 out of 46 senators voted for the map and we all know the 100% purpose of the map. Your majority party in the House voted for it. Our governor is calling for it to be done now. Why would SC not be included?
