It doesn't look good. The John K flash stuff was cool in terms of itz content but it also suffered as this does. These old guys were just rotely applying "toon" stylistic markers to digital in a way that is inappropriate.

Very classic foolish notion of young men. Military training is an advantage but unnecessary for a 50 y.o. experienced in just bar fight type scraps for 30 yrs to knock out most 20 y.o. men in 2-3 hits & in seconds. 20 is a great age for a foot soldier but not a skillful commander

The notion of "badass old men" is a holdover from a time when the older generations were combat veterans. Any 20 year old could beat up the 50 year olds of today. The combat experience factor isn't there to equalize.

What I defend of this stuff...basically weird guys who were often the ire of their executives and producers refracted all of that into their own egotistical, beautiful vision of it. And largely did so from the sidelines being considered irrelevant.
