This post makes a classic error in conflating cultural aversion and legal prohibition.
One of the surest ways of demonstrating some phenomenon exists is to identify laws prohibiting it. After all, why would a polity need to ban what no one is doing anyway?
Historians use this method all the time. Laws against interfaith marriage in the Crusader states, for example, indicate such marriage was happening at such a rate that rulers felt the need to prohibit it. And think about it, today, if you see a law against some particular practice, what are you likely to think? That no one has ever done it, and that lawmakers are just being unusually proactive? Or that the law is a response to some problem?
Bans against cousin marriage work similarly. The presence of legal proscription should indicate to you not that the population are naturally averse to such marriage, but rather the opposite—that the authorities felt the need to address the phenomenon.

First cousin marriage in the Anglo-protestant world is a great example of how fast things change and how quickly we forget. Until the mid 1800s it was legal everywhere, and neither stigmatized nor particularly encouraged, although some families did have a pattern of it. But stigma and prohibition steadily increased, to the point that it is now extremely taboo, and essentially never occurs outside of recent immigrants, even in the States retaining the old English common law that allows it.

Almost ready to start shipping water. It will be a while until I can afford to do it for free, the price will start high and then gradually drop, all the way to zero + shipping. This is partly because everything will be very slow at the start, not just water production but also I'll write all the address labels by hand, and then there's been a lot of fixed costs to set everything up. The costs on my side will drop quickly, water production will increase massively, and donations from grateful water enjoyers will build up over a long time. It seems likely that donations will exceed costs eventually, at which point the water can be free and perhaps shipping could be subsidized for first-time orders. It doesn't cost anything to go to church, and neither should the water, for the very same reasons.
