After so many broken promises, Rohingya refugee survival is on the line in today’s UN High-Level Meeting. Impossible repatriation, collapsing food aid, surging evictions, and underfunded education threaten dignity and lives. Donors must act now to prevent irreversible harm. The ask is clear: ✅ No forced return ✅ Fund food, education, youth skills, mental & physical health ✅ Uphold housing & legal rights Survival for a people is on the line.

The UN Commission of Inquiry has concluded, on reasonable grounds, that genocide is being committed in Gaza. These findings are not abstract. They reflect what our colleagues endure and witness every day in Gaza City. Nearly 90% of Gaza’s people have been forced from one place to the next. Families, including our own staff, flee under fire, barefoot, injured, carrying children, with nowhere safe to go. The Commission also found starvation is being used as a weapon. Famine is spreading, already taking lives. Our teams and partners have seen water trucks directly targeted in Gaza City and destroyed, cutting off life-saving services. People shot while trying to get food. Families left with nothing. These are not accidents of war. International law is clear: civilians must be protected and aid must reach them. States have a duty to stop genocide. We will continue to press relentlessly for access to deliver life-saving aid.
