LeBron James says his decision will come down to “being in love with the process” and not the outcome of winning games, per @LawMurrayTheNU. LeBron plans to discuss his options with Savannah, Zhuri, and Bryce.

@charlieINTEL Obviously bringing Forza over was smart, but how much did those other ports cost to bring over to Playstation. At the end of the day, the juice might not be worth the squeeze.

@SIZinChitown @grantcohn That's the point. We've seen picks like this over and over. We have data that it's not working out in 2-3 years. Time to try something else.

@grantcohn I think it’s a reach for journalists and fans to presume they know more than the professionals. It will take 2-3 years to determine if these were the right moves. Have some faith and confidence.

So when the Rams pick Ty Simpson at 13, it’s a reach and consensus is real. But when the 49ers draft De’Zhaun Stribling at 33 or Kaelon Black at 90, reaching isn’t real and consensus doesn’t exist. Objective.
David Lombardi@LombardiHimself

Draft Day 1 NFC West summary… Cardinals: Gave record $54m GTD to a rookie RB Rams: Pissed off their own coach with a QB pick (reach by consensus) Seahawks: Reached for a RB vs the consensus Doesn’t seem bad for the 49ers, who added a top-100 pick

Gotta do something I never thought I'd do... I gotta talk a little bit about Jesus... I think the most remarkable thing about Christ's love is that it is obvious and available to everyone, regardless of how they think about Jesus... I believe this is why he's so respected by many great thinkers, historians, and spiritual leaders of other religions. For even if you don't believe he was God, when you look at his story honestly you see someone who was willing to SUFFER so that others could be free... Christ believed he could take on the suffering of every person, but he knew this would come at GREAT PERSONAL COST. That is the essence of love! Christ thought of YOU! In a very real sense he was thinking of the future of humanity... Consider that he was brought into a Holy city, welcomed as a Messiah to a Chosen People. They wanted a War Lord, who would take vengeance on their enemies. With this position and knowledge that this would be remembered, Yeshwa told these people to LOVE their enemy instead... He told them to turn the other cheek... He told them laws were made for man, and man was NOT made for laws... And we must remember that the Crucifixion had a SYMBOLIC meaning... Maybe the next time you watch Passion of the Christ you'll notice how badly the Jewish leaders wanted Jesus Crucified, even after he was beaten bloody. It kind of doesn't make sense given his crimes. The reason stems from old beliefs about the afterlife... You see, many different cultures have had myths or stories to understand passing on from the physical world. Sometimes a culture would put coins on the deceased eyes to pay a toll into the afterlife. Sometimes, artifacts or treasures were put in tombs to have a use as a person passed on. Sometimes a culture believed you had to die in battle to go to a certain spiritual realm... Around this time, defilement of the body was often associated with consequences in the afterlife. Maybe you remember the movie Troy where Achilles says he will cut out Hectors eyes so he wonders the afterlife blind? This was a belief that still remained at the time of Jesus. The Crucifixion was an especially cruel means of execution, and it was designed to be so. In fact, it was deemed so painful and DISTURBING to the process of passing on that NO ROMAN CITIZEN COULD BE CRUCIFIED. It was considered one of the lowest and most humiliating ways to die, and BECAUSE Christ died this way he was MOCKED. This was the intent of the Jewish leaders; to make a mockery of Jesus so that no one would ever follow his teachings... Even centuries later, you find MOCKING of Jesus all over the world. In a sense, it seems ABSURD that all powerful God, even in mortal form, would allow themselves to die in such a lowly, dishonorable way... But you see, that's the point... Christ knew ALL OF THIS, and in fact it became the tension that spread the mystery of his teachings... Because of course Christianity didn't just turn on like a light switch after this. Instead the mystery of WHY a living God allowed himself to be killed in such a way was the splinter in the mind that made many seek deeper... Over centuries, despite all the efforts of the Great Deceiver, the message of the mocked Corpse God spread into the hearts of MILLIONS. What was sold as dishonorable was revealed to be pure love in a way that is so profound I still have trouble comprehending it... And of course the hatred towards him, and the level of his suffering begs the question of what exactly his crimes were. And in that, you see the mystery... In that you see God's wisdom... In that you see Christ's LOVE... So, even if you think Jesus was just some crazy mystical thinker who thought he could save humanity with some kind of magic, you still gotta admit it's pretty fucking cool that that crazy dude LOVED YOU so much!! Just felt like I had to get that out 🙏

Michigan Senator Mallory McMorrow reveals companies are using dynamic algorithmic pricing to charge Americans more based on your data She says this is even being used to increase rents - A $240 flight to Florida increased to $423 because you looked twice - Uber pricing doubled because phone battery was below 20% “Usually it's about 18 bucks, but oh, the app knows that your phone battery is low, so it's double the price. Companies are using algorithmic pricing tools to study your personal data and charge you exactly what they think you'll pay. This is called surveillance pricing, and it means that companies can charge you completely different prices for the exact same thing, and it's not just happening to consumers. Some companies are now using similar algorithms to track workers and decide their wages, hours, and schedules, even their locations — My plan bans companies from setting personalized prices based on your data — It protects all workers, including gig workers and contractors from algorithmic wage discrimination, and it cracks down on companies using these systems to coordinate things like higher rents and insurance premiums, because the economy shouldn't be a rigged game.”

@tonyrenghini Let me fix this for you: Overrated WR cries to daddy for a big contract and the front office caves Overrated WR has the worst season of his career after before injury and then gets injured Aiyuk ignored MANDATORY rehab. Aiyuk NEVER RESPONDED TO TEXTS. FOH with your revisionism

The Brandon Aiyuk-49ers situation in a nutshell: - Front Office reluctantly signed him to a mega deal after Kyle made an executive decision - Aiyuk gets injured in 2024 - Aiyuk didn’t trust the team with his rehab - Made a mistake choosing not to attend 2025 rehab check-ins - This gave the team the perfect excuse to get out of his contract - The team voids his guarantees - He still reports from July to October and clearly expressed intent to play - Looked smooth in pre-game preseason warmups - The team kept pushing his return date down the line - Once the trade deadline passed, the relationship officially soured and Aiyuk never returned and ignored contact with the team It’s very likely the team tried to trade him, couldn’t, then shut him down for the season to preserve his value. If that is true, that’s probably why he left the team — they wouldn’t let him play. Him not showing up or responding to the team clearly pissed him off, but that was a mistake. He wants out AFTER the front office did these things, but him doing this is making it impossible for the 49ers to trade him. His absence hurt any value he had for the team, while also making it harder for him to leave. I’m not on a side here. Both parties have their part to play in this whole thing. However, holding out for months for a potential seventh round pick seems disingenuous. Just sever the relationship. Move on and focus on more important things. The team clearly won’t do that because they have controlled the PR and have an image to uphold. I just wish this would’ve worked out 🤷‍♂️

@Fullcourtpass @LakersDailyCom It’s funny seeing people have so much of a problem with white boys having success in the league. Especially when they are making LeBron look bad. He needs to retire and give the lakers a chance to throw some of his burden of a payroll to some defensive players.
