@Motorsport And Sky chose not to show it at all. They’ve obviously been briefed to avoid demeaning the new regs. It’s a disgrace. All we had was Crofty and his yabba dabba do commentary. My ears were bleeding halfway through his sweet-shop analogy.

Still trying to process Sunday's race and the reactions from all the drivers I spoke to. Safety concerns highlighted by NOR, SAI and others are worrying, as was COL's lucky escape with LAW at the start. Cars not getting away cleanly can happen under any regs, but the chances are clearly higher now. NOR running over ANT's lost cooling fan was also a warning - he said he was too busy looking at the homework on his steering wheel and didn't see it. If drivers are more distracted than in the past, especially at a time when cars ahead can slow suddenly, it's can't be good.

@rwilliams1947 @adamcooperF1 The saddest indictment of it was that Sky were obviously briefed to avoid discussing it or showing it as a replay so as not to highlight the new regs fallibility. It could have been disasterous. It was reminiscent of frightening starts in the 80s.

You make my piss boil @SilverstoneUK Forcing people to book camping to give priority to tickets. Using dynamic pricing, it leaves ‘campers’ in a situation where they are obliged to follow through whatever the cost. General sale tickets are then at this price. You’re a disgrace.
