This DM has made me chuckle 😂 I’ve had a good think about this Joao Pedro Super Boost and it just isn’t one that catches my eye. In terms of value, yeah, there's quite a bit. Pedro is best priced at 1.40 for a shot on target so by taking Evens you're getting a much better deal than you would by taking it elsewhere. However the stats behind it just aren't good. Going into this weekend Pedro is averaging just 0.46 shots on target per 90 minutes played in the Premier League this season. His recent record is really bad having gone six successive matches across all competitions without a shot on target. In fact, across those six matches he has had just two shots, never mind a shot on target. So that's two efforts at goal in 451 minutes of football. With Cole Palmer being out I was thinking Pedro might be on penalties which would be some kind of bonus. But even there, I don't think he would be as Enzo Fernandez has taken Chelsea's only penalty. The one thing that does bode well for this bet is the fact that Forest are managed by Ange and have become much weaker defensively, so there should be plenty of chances for Chelsea. This Super Boost is just down to what you value more - the actual value you're getting from the bet or the stats/context that backs it up. For me it's the latter and it's just one that I can't get behind after taking all the above into consideration.
