On February 2, 1977, Ian Turnbull set an NHL record in a victory over the Detroit Red Wings, becoming the first defenceman to score 5 goals in a single game; a record that still stands alone today. On November 22nd 2008, Maple Leafs Legend Wendel Clark had his number raised to the rafters of Scotiabank Arena.
