@cabernetfine @OwnHimLuka God, I still love that UT isn't even the university of Texas anymore. It's good knowing that money can't buy everything with that cesspool

@HawkguyMatt @JeffBayer4 Not even taken out of context :D. That's the best part, Tech did not know about this until the NCAA informed them AFTER he transferred.

@Dcutah @sweet_n_tweet @Scoobie_227 You know you've lost when you bring follower count into the conversation, like it holds some sort of weight. Can I get an interview with you, to help boost my follower count, "wannabe influencer loses argument over follower count opinion"

@Wreck_em_Tide @PeteNakos @wreckemforever1 @On3 @TIinClemson Welp, at this point, all the schools that will be boycotted can form their own conference. TTU/Clemson We all know UT(both)/Michigan/Georgia/Alabama/LSU/Florida and quite a few other big ones will on that list. . .looks like that super conference is being built

Clemson WR Tristan Smith was granted a temporary injunction against the NCAA on Friday, making him eligible for the 2026 college football season. Posted 24 catches for 239 yards in 2025 for the Tigers. on3.com/college/clemso…

@mobilikum @jonkappes1985 @AmandaMAtwell Depending on the definition of "team", one did bet on the Texas longhorns. There is an integrity issue regardless, as teams will know other players. Anything saying he didn't bet on a longhorn that he asked to throw a gam

@ArtHains @TexasTechFB Villain while Indiana/cinnci walk away with smirks on their face and dirty pockets. So, pray tell me in a world where millions are being spent and seasons are short would you do. Morals mean jackshit in an environment where one school has had 50 players in jail over 4 years

@ArtHains @TexasTechFB School, being able to take sorsby until they had finished their investigation. Instead they let it go through, and effectively screwed tech out of well rounded team because of the NCAA ineffectiveness. Now tech is between a rock and hard place with no way out and made the

Ok, modified message. The judge in the Brandon Sorsby affair was not local to Lubbock. But that doesn’t change the gist of what I said. Sorsby knowingly broke a huge, well-known rule about gambling on his own team. @TexasTechFB should not play him, nor should any other school.

@sweet_n_tweet @Scoobie_227 And yet you still have a coach with about the faithfulness of a honeybadger. If you're going to try to justify a situation maybe don't be a much worse program than that situation

@sweet_n_tweet @Scoobie_227 But didn't boycott them, realistically though this would have never come to light with LSU, because if there coach is willing to leave a program on their cfp run, what's covering up some gambling problems.

@Scoobie_227 He has to be trolling. He also said if it was LSU no one would talk about it… after everyone has been talking about LSU for the last 6 months.

@Okla_OAG As an attorney general, do you have access to information that the general public does not? I thought tech declared him ineligible as the rules star, tried to reinstate it, which failed and then sorsby not TTU sued the NCAA and won?

Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond
Texas Tech's actions in obtaining eligibility for Brendan Sorsby -- an athlete the NCAA declared permanently ineligible for extensive wagering on college sports, including games involving his own team -- have constituted a shameful chapter in the story of college football. If Texas Tech will not do the right thing, the Big 12 should. espn.com/college-footba…

@foxonabox_ Kind of gross that mental health is an important factor in this decision while having other teams with players who have actual charges on them.

@LFTGCFB If college football was a way cleaner sport, I would absolutely agree with everyone that this is not the move. At this point I'm a fuck it, if everyone else is getting away with it AND there are no integrity concerns with the bet, let the kid play. Not like he has child cruelty

@TomFornelli Imagine if the NCAA did the right thing and vacated Indiana/cinncis wins for the last 4 years for covering up gambling while at both schools. Oh God could you imagine the outrage of Indiana losing their natty

It certainly isn't the most important aspect of the story, but it's sad that Texas Tech was on the precipice of being embraced by CFB as a success story like Indiana, but has instead decided upon its current path. Wrote about it: cbssports.com/college-footba…

@AmandaMAtwell @CoyoteRaider The state of Texas had/has to deal with ~132 years of UoT (Texas not Tennessee since y'all lost that fight) gaslighting, I think you can handle 22 mins.
