Kenyans fail in so many things because they hate using n paying professionals. my friend and I were looking for a business rental in one of the CBDs in the country. since he is the one on the ground, he begins the search for the place. he looked for a suitable place for 2 months with no avail. I go on tiktok, find these real estate guys, they ask for 5K fee, n they promise to get me a unit. i say okay. one day later, they say they have 3 places that we can check out. my friend goes n checks them out, n they are perfect.
same thing happened with farming. after making losses here n there, i finally decided to get a qualified agronomist. i hold interviews, pick the best guy. Suddenly, farm turns from loss making to profitability.
Pay professionals guys.

Given the amount of land Kenya Railways controls, they ought to have at least a design and use code, which they can lease with conditions.

The Court of Appeal has made a ruling that uphold's the High Court's decision that restricts government and state corporations from engaging private law firms, raising significant concerns about the future of our profession. As the number of practitioners grows, the available opportunities seem to be shrinking. During my campaign for LSK President, I prioritized this issue, but it was met with differing opinions. The profile and prestige of our profession continue to decline. It’s crucial to reflect on the actions of the current LSK Council. What have they accomplished? Have we taken steps to advocate for our profession in the Court of Appeal? If so, did we employ strong negotiation tactics to secure a ruling that safeguards our collective interests? There are serious challenges ahead.
