If you’re too retarded to understand why the government shouldn’t be universally mandating equipment in your vehicle that can monitor you and determine whether to let your vehicle function or not then you don’t deserve the right to vote or even be a citizen really.

I won't be buying any new vehicle with this 4th Amendment Commie AI feature. Republicans voted for this too...Uniparty at its worst. I look forward to a SCOTUS ruling on this anti-American tech soon. This is why Congress has a favorability rating lower than used toilet paper.

Genuinely if this comes to pass and isn't changed, I will have lost all faith in the Republican Party. This is such a major violation of the rights of privacy for Americans that calling it Orwellian doesn't even cover it - I don't recall the cars in 1984 deciding if you're fit to drive.
This needs to be amended and removed from law. There is no reasonable reason for anything like this to ever be made law in any regard.

It's worth recapping just how many state laws Virginia Democrats violated in order to actually do this referendum.
They kept a special session open for two years, pushed it through with early voting already underway in last year's governor's race, and failed to publish it three months before an election.
They wrote an extremely misleading ballot question, also in violation of the law, that claimed creating a 10D-1R map was a "temporary measure" to "restore fairness," in order to influence a particular result.
And yet, a referendum passing by less than 5 points will allow them to create a 10D-1R map in a state that voted for Kamala by 6 points.
If only Republicans would use the power they gain to ruthlessly govern instead of lecturing us about 'norms and procedures.'

Researchers have created a new device that uses ultrasound to trigger smells directly in the brain for VR The small device rests on the forehead with a soft gel pad. It sends gentle sound waves through the skull to the area of the brain that processes smell. Current VR smell systems use cartridges that need constant refills and can make a mess. This new method is cleaner and could one day let people smell virtual worlds like forests or oceans naturally. The project is still in early prototype stage from a small research team. Safety levels were kept low, but more testing is needed.

Had horrific night terrors from 12-17 after moving.
Stayed in that same bedroom this week and woke up repeatedly around 3am seeing that same figure at the foot of my bed.
My parents talk about all the weird shit that happens in that house but refuse to acknowledge it’s haunted.

Just because this reads more intense than what I meant, I should clarify. I want the war to end, but if Trump wants that as well.. the way he went about it is unacceptable and hurts our legitimacy in future conflicts. Which matters because war with China over Taiwan is a very real possibility before the end of Trumps term.

I like Trump. I want the war to end swiftly and with minimal cost to the American people as possible.
But this is cowardly. No one actually expects the Iranians to follow through with any peace deal. They've never dealt fairly before, it's fair to assume this is just a stalling tactic so they can rebuild their defenses. It's not even clear if a government entity capable of controlling the different armed forces that were formerly considered under Iranian control still exists.
Moreover, if an American President makes a threat (even if it's one I disagree with) he should follow through with it. To not do so is to accept that a weaker nation has some power over us, which is unacceptable.
I didn't want a war with Iran. I didn't want Trump to threaten to destroy their civilization. But he did both of those things. To back down is unacceptable (even if it ends up achieving the end of the war, which I want), because it weakens the power of the American president making a threat.
Soon people will take our 'red lines' with as much care as they do Russias. Russia has a history of making threats and failing to follow through, so no one cares when they set a red line. That's the path Trump is leading us down now.
tldr; While I may agree with the outcome of this (assuming some sort of peace is achieved), I feel the way Trump has gotten us to this point is damaging to our international legitimacy.
