Just a reminder: if you’re planning on attending the Everton coach meet & greet tomorrow, please remember that pyros and smoke canisters are dangerous, illegal to set off, and can cause breathing difficulties for other supporters. #EFC #nopyrobutparty @The1878s @EFC_FanAdvisory

Our #ProjectServator officers deployed at several locations today, including Aintree, Bold Street and points along the forthcoming @btrliverpool Half Marathon. These deployments can happen anywhere and at any time, and we will use a variety of tactics including vehicle checkpoints. Although they are different to normal police operations, if you see a deployment, don't worry – it's all about disrupting criminal activity, including terrorism, while providing a reassuring presence for the public. Project Servator deployments consist of a mix of plain-clothes and uniformed officers who are specially trained to spot the tell-tale signs that someone may have criminal intent such as gathering information to help them plan or prepare to commit a crime. The officers will also speak to members of the public to encourage vigilance and the reporting of suspicious activity by either telling staff, security or a police officer, or calling 101. Remember, you can also report anonymously at gov.uk/ACT or call 0800 789 321. In an emergency, always call 999. For more ℹ about Project Servator and how you can help us keep people safe, visit the force website: orlo.uk/OWAmK
