@japhetho @olaitan_5389 Greeting is basic courtesy. If he isn't entitled to her greeting, she isn't entitled to his seat. It's as basic as that
English

@olaitan_5389 Why do you feel entitled to a strangers greeting ?
Does it make you a better person, does it make you richer or poorer ?
I never understood people's obsession with greetings especially from strangers.
See you withholding good from a person becos she didnt greet you.
English

She came to my shop yesterday to dodge for rain without even greeting when the rain was about to stop she wanted to be going not until the rain was still draining.
Our eyes eventually caught each other but I just stood my ground not to offer her a sit just because she doesn't know how to utter a greeting.

@lordlibrachaos @Benn_X1 It's always the ones with zero knowledge that have something to say. Kid said 3 days 😮😅😅
English

@Benn_X1 I feel if you take most projects that are rolled out these days as case study
I don’t feel this would be difficult
A Mac with Claude max and I’d reckon it’s done in under 3 days.
AI is extremely brazy especially if you know what you’re doing. it could be done.

2 weeks is roughly 1 sprint.
Are you sure you know what you’re talking about?
This is not a landing page clone though.
If you’re up for it, I can simplify the task for you. Just build the order return or cancellation process flow. For simplicity, ignore any UI (web or mobile). Focus exclusively on the API.
Assume that upstream and downstream services already exist and also assume that your API works as-is regardless of the design.
I will make things a lot more easier for you by explaining popular use cases:
Imagine a user place an order for 5 items, and after receiving them decides to return 2 items in the order.
Also handle the case where the entire order is returned.
In the case of partial return, you’d have to deduct the shipping fee for the items that were returned, and handle refunds.
Of course, there are many other use cases like returning the proportion of VAT that was paid for the returned item.
It is also expected that you update your financial records.
I’ll be happy to provide synthetic data to simulate Jumia traffic on your API.
If you’re up for it, let me know.
Promexy@Promexy
Jumia, in its current state, can be built in 2 weeks with the right tools and prompter. I don't like it, but that's where we are atm.

@thoniahilary @samteic You obviously need a builder first. You and whoever it is can market the product even before getting a real marketer. But you need a working mvp first. So builder

@Akintola_steve Bro said php ecosystem is legacy. Shows you know nothing💀😅
English

You already said it “enterprise application” so ofc Java.
Like I said before JS ecosystem is saturated and slowly turning into legacy PHP ecosystem.
Olaonipekun BSc, MSc, PhD in-view 👐@OfficialSamkayz
If someone with 10yrs experience in JS and 5yrs in Java applied to a company that their vision is to build enterprise applications that's scalable, there is a high chance they will consider the Java developer before they look at the JS developer. That's the sad reality 😞
