@M1cahB0wers Yeah there’s a meeting of demand I think — people wanting media that reflects their internal state or desires.
Will be a growing market for empowering, positive films, movies, content for adults in the future as people wake up to this.

@everyday_awaken Thank you for your practice and your skillful sharing 🙏

@thejakeseevers I yeah it’s so prevalent.
I think people get worn down by the hardships and traumas of the world, and don’t develop the tools to see life with freshness and awe.
It becomes a default pattern.
Then lots of media sources just give people what they want more of…
English

@MettaMatta I noticed that, too. How does everyone get so numb to life?
English

@scottdomes You are describing my inner operating system for the better part of a decade
English

@tasshinfogleman Finding this type of time shift happening for me as well.
A question is how do we relate to both paradigms?

@LeighStJohn33 As someone who has done multiple international moves… this is a true accomplishment.
Legend ❤️🔥

Upgrading my Inner OS meant I could:
⚡️Go through an international move from 🇯🇵 to 🇲🇾 with a pregnant wife
⚡️Become a first time Father
⚡️Set up a deeply aligned life in a new country
⚡️All while serving 35+ clients powerfully
On 4-6 hrs of sleep
And feel more flow, abundance & joy than EVER
Despite endless hours of immigration fuckery
Despite myriad setbacks and difficulties along the way
Despite a huge amount of "admin" that had to be done
(If you've ever done a big move you know how it goes - International hits different)
There's one simple reason why I could navigate this from a place of deep peace:
Every time there was potential to be stressed
I simply surrendered instead
And it doesn't mean there weren't any hiccups along the way..
(Definitely lost my rag a number of times)
But the degree to which the inner toxicity lingers is seconds
(Instead of hrs or days)
And look..
Surrender does not mean resignation
It means recognizing that resistance to whatever life is presenting you..
Only creates varying degrees of suffering
And realizing how redundant that is
I work off of a simple principle:
99% of tension/suffering/discontent is self-created
Adhering to this is the ultimate act of radical ownership
Because it can't ever be anyone else's fault
The ability to self-created dissolve suffering BEFORE - DURING - AFTER an event..
Is what I call MENTAL EFFICIENCY
I feel incredibly blessed that I got to practice what I preach in circumstances that would have certainly broken an earlier version of me
And this is what it's about
Cultivating peak MENTAL EFFICIENCY so you can forget yourself..
And show up for the other people in your life
Realizing the most valuable gift you can give them is a stress free, empowered, present and loving version of YOU
P.S - If you're a high-performer struggling with overthinking
I made a FREE 2-min tool to help you snap out
And find grounded calm & presence
Want it?
DM me "OS" and I'll ship it across

@peptalksblog Such an improved way of seeing.
Although 17 chicken nuggets and a tub of ice cream would probably end me haha
English

@brianmaierhofer The irony is the part trying to do the fixing was keeping me from deep contact with life
English

@basedethos This is the way
Faith, trust, deep awe at the unfolding mystery of life.
English

@MicleMihai I agree, although mythic elements can arise in my experience.
The core practice is nervous system training and shift in patterns/self view
English

@MettaMatta At its best, an "imaginal practice" is not about fantasy. It’s about conditioning your nervous system and identity.

@TraumaHealing23 Simple not easy is right!
I’d say there’s more to it than that, but a core practice for sure.
English

@SpiritDirtbag Well said!
I’m reading Seeing that Frees now and it’s such a gift.
This is something I’d like to explore as well.
I’m starting to catch glimpses of emptiness in places where I’d be stuck before… promising!
English

I was thinking of the imaginal practice by rob burbea which is a little less about the self focus, but can feel the void of "everything is empty" with a more soulful expression (even than the organized religions).
an "image" there could be ... yes, an image, but also an idea, a vibe, a sound, a mythos, etc.
I guess the main thing that they differ with what you seem to be doing is the intention behind it though imo intention is even more important than the form of practice for the results
