Use qwen 35b 3.6 with skills It’s a good model but don’t make it do all the hard work alone Skills drastically help small local models 35b is very fast and if you exploit skills it can do a lot more than you think

what europe needs for remote work IMO: working from switzerland/bavaria/austria, the ppl are cold assholes. working from marbella, the ppl are too shallow/scammy + u deal w spanish tax & bureacracy bs. working from Ibiza the ppl are there to have a good time, energy is not work working from cyprus not enough likeminded founders there yet. i remember a while back some american bros started smthin called praxis nation (to build a new city or smthin) but never heard anything since. what we need is not smthin for crypto/dropship bros or the more laid back euro instagram type girls who are all "life coach", but: a town which is southern europe (climate) by the beach, low taxes, business friendly, AND attracts the forward-minded american types (real founders, not noisy types) because the ppl dictate the energy of the place (u don't want another laid back med place), + great infra, great fitness facilities, great organic produce, etc. if someone really wants to start the next praxis that's what they'd solve for. all with intention & by design. i know more americans are also interested in europe than ever before. but it all starts with the ppl.

@NousResearch Quite useful. Couple of questions. 1. does it provide in UI interaction with the agent? 2. On multi instance, what happens with UI port when cloned? Do i change config for the port once in the instance config? or must run dashboard --port N each time for that hermes instance?

Been using Droid and GLM-5.1 to decompile binaries back into something similar enough to the original that it can be modified for my needs. Is this hacking?

as someone who's middle eastern (persian genetics) & lives in the alpine region, let me tell you: these ppl moving will be in for shock & misery. 1- the winters are brutal: cracked skin / bleeding hands, low UV, no moisturiser or vitamin D supplement is a replacement for what ur body needs (mood/energy dips), then spring is hayfever hell (can't breathe), so region is only livable June-Oct. 2- going from a culture of convenience to: everything closes at 7pm & all international restaurants suck. 3- the swiss hate their own people & their own neighbour, let alone other europeans. You think they'll accept you, a middle eastern? the alpine region is heaven if you're used to living in europe for a long time AND you like a quiet life AND you're an internet nerd where most of your friends are online AND you live there June-Oct. hence i love this region June-Oct. But moving there directly from the middle east for the first time? Good luck

I wonder if anyone in Warsaw would like to purchase this preconfigured, preoptimised and heavily benchmarked rig. I can give a full spec sheet, including all the models it can run, as well as all the thousands of benchmarks I’ve ran. I can also custom configure it for you

Hermes and Carnice 27b is probably replacing base for me on 1x3090 @kaiostephens After using it extensively for 2 days, I have had zero reliability issues with it, and what seems like from benchmarks some improvements to tool calling and some refusals when posed with impossible tasks. Next up is @DJLougen new 27b model not finedtuned on hermes but his own small but high quality dataset.

indeed "try harder" is all they tell folks. a german tax advisor just told me this is not the country for self-employed or trying harder. either stay under 25k revenue (lol) given addition of VAT, increased healthcare & plethora of other fuckeries. OR make 200k+ per year. Middle zone is no-go zone as you get utterly fisted. So if you are a rising self-employed builder, you're truly fucked until you do bigger numbers. (& let's be real, most "online" builders don't get to 200k in the first couple years - the exact time they need more business-friendly policies that doesn't put them off building). why not incorporate a gmbh? cos once u leave germany u are faced with some of the most obscene taxes known to mankind, which include exit taxes on unrealised gains & more. so one must stay self-employed to maintain long-term optionality. (& yes as a gmbh u can invest in real estate but that's a fool's game, old game by ppl who have no experience actually operating real estate. + fooled by randomness & bias) CONCLUSION: Germany's tax system was designed around employment and Mittelstand companies with employees, not the new age of work. Actually not even for self-employed work 20 years ago. Stifling innovation. Dinosaur age. oh & let's not forget the very generous €1,000/year capital gains allowance if u want to invest in index funds, L-O-L fuck off. long-term not the play. oh how the mighty have fallen (pattern here w western europe)

@tylermayfield @0xSero Codex is too opaque, you can't really see the model think. Maybe there's a setting or something but opencode is just better at this point.
