ICE is not at airports to help TSA and reduce lines. They are there (without identification) trying to arrest people, exactly as I predicted.

Confirmed what I suspected in a post last night. Thune reached a deal with Dems to fund DHS except for ICE and Trump rejected it. DONALD TRUMP is to blame for airport chaos - not Democrats.

San Diego's airport today! All the GOP has to do is fund the TSA bill that the Democrats have put on the table numerous times!

View from the San Diego airport at 6:30 this morning. It doesn’t have to be like this. I have a bill to pay TSA workers, Coast Guard and emergency management without adding more to ICE and Border Patrol. Easy, right? But Trump won’t allow it. As the DHS shutdown drags into nearly 40 days, federal workers and travelers shouldn’t have to suffer from Republican inaction.

BREAKING: TSA line in Atlanta is over 2 and a half hours long and wrapping around the baggage claim. Note that Democrats have put forward multiple bills to Fund TSA, but Republicans have rejected them all.

WHOA. Lewandowski is accused of demanding fees from a private prison company to steer them ICE contracts, at a time when he was widely known to be running DHS on Kristi Noem's behalf.
Congress should conduct a full and bipartisan investigation into this.

Today, I journeyed to an obscure part of the Capitol basement to see the long-awaited plaque honoring the police officers who defended Congress and America against Trump’s insurrectionary mob on January 6, 2021.
To his credit, Sen. Tillis joined Democrats in demanding it be put up, but this spot is not accessible to the public.
Speaker Johnson, come on—put the plaque in its rightful place of honor.

Yes, it's drama, melodrama and soap opera. But it also really matters. And I admire how Powell has handled himself here.

BREAKING: WSJ reports Russia is giving intelligence to Iran to hit U.S. forces.
Meanwhile, Trump has lifted sanctions on Russia, allowing them to sell more oil.
So…we are basically paying Putin to kill our troops. Let THAT sink in.
