A graduation ceremony in Franklin, Tennessee turned into a soaking wet controversy after officials decided to keep the event outdoors during a torrential downpour. Footage from the ceremony shows graduates crossing the stage in heavy rain while families sat drenched in the stands as the storm moved through the area. Now some parents are demanding answers, saying students deserved better and arguing the conditions became unsafe.

I’m not into black listing anyone from future work in their area of expertise but I do think it’s fair to want a whole new crop of foreign policy staffers in the next democratic administration. It’s not like the same 120 people are the only people who know anything.

President Trump is the ONLY one who could have gotten Iran — the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism — to the negotiating table. We are greatly encouraged to learn a PEACE DEAL in Iran is underway — and look forward to learning more about the specifics. Under President Trump’s leadership, our nation is stronger, more respected on the global stage, and safer than ever before.

I’ve seen more thorough autopsies from the local coroner’s office. This DNC autopsy report has nothing to do with how to win a race. But if you want a roadmap for how to lose one, it’s probably useful. Winning isn’t as complicated as it looks. Candidates who can appeal to a broad coalition of Democrats and Independents, who know how to communicate why they’re running and why that matters to voters — that was the secret sauce behind Bill Clinton and Barack Obama’s electoral and reelection successes. It was also the formula that helped Nancy Pelosi become Speaker. The last three presidential elections were decided by roughly half a million voters across seven states. We need candidates who know how to win those states and earn the confidence of those swing voters. It’s that simple. And you won't find the combination to that lock in this autopsy report.
