Donald Trump has been a national politician for a decade. Anyone still reacting to the guy’s negotiating tactics and hyperbole with this sort of hysteria ten years in should be disqualified from political commentary. If he nukes Tehran at 8pm, I’ll admit I’m the crazy one. When he doesn’t, this crew will admit nothing and find some other comment to be scandalized by.

I’ll admit it: When Lola, my adorable Rottweiler, began to attack the children in my neighborhood, I was beside myself with joy. Finally, here was a pet who wasn’t going to behave itself like the other local compliant animals. Lola went for the jugular—and it was transcendent. None of this tail-wagging nonsense. When kids tried to pet her, they lost a finger, and that was the way it was. Now I come to find myself lying in a pool of my own blood. How could we do this to ourselves?!

I will admit it. I LOVED Trump unhinged when he was on the campaign trail. He was outspoken, politically incorrect and fearless in his brutality. And I loved it. In the wake of so much political correctness, it was refreshing to see a man who didn't care what people thought. He was a breath of fresh air. He wasn't a politician and that's what I loved about him. The problem is, our chickens have come home to roots. We said, "let Trump be Trump." Now here we are. On the brink of nuclear war. Pray for America. We did this to ourselves. And to the world.
