Only Premier @fordnation & our government are standing up for our nuclear workers. Mike Schreiner’s statement is a slap in the face to the 4500 men & women at the Pickering Nuclear Station whose hard work saw the station have its second best year EVER as a six-unit station!

Bonnie Crombie’s energy critic wants to bring back failed Liberal energy policies. No one wants to go back to the fastest rising electricity prices in North America. No one wants sky-rocketing electricity rates that killed 300,000 jobs. Our government is keeping costs down!

Today I joined @Andrea_Khanjin to announce nine new projects that will help pave the way for the production of clean electricity from hydrogen. Great to make the announcement at the Halton Hills Generating Station which will start using hydrogen produced at Niagara Falls.

Our government is keeping electricity costs down for families and small businesses. By increasing the Ontario Electricity Rebate to 19.3% we are helping the average household save $26 a month on their electricity bill - or $312 a year. Check out my video to learn more.

It’s shameful to see the NDP, led by @MaritStiles, vote AGAINST supporting Ontario’s nuclear sector. This industry supports 76,000 highly skilled, well paid jobs and provides more than 50% of the electricity Ontario families and businesses use every day with ZERO emissions.
